  19. It has become a routine for my 6 yr old and I to sit down and read your blog. We have gone back so far and reread our favorites. My daughter calls it "the blog you cry at" because it brings tears to my eyes. I use your blog to tell her why its so important for us parents to take photos of our kids every day. Its been a pleasure to watch your girls grow. Your work is amazing and moves me every time. Happiest New Year to you and yours!

    Hey Jason!

I know you don't know me, but I live in Houston TX, and I too have two little [asian, hehe] girls ages 3 in march, and 1 in February.

My husband and I are photographers and we absolutely LOVE your work. It actually inspired us to attempted to do a creative shoot with them for Christmas for our cards and it actually was a HUGE hit, so thank you for the inspiration!

We are planning on getting some more lights and a pocket wizard soon so we can get the great lighting like you have to jazz things up a smidge more. Do you use anything similar?

One of the pictures I will admit that made me ball like I had just seen my child for the first time was where your girls were looking up at the wedding dress. That picture touched me in a way that now, every time I see a wedding store for anything I think back on that picture and just cry some more because it was so moving ;]

Anyways, CAN'T WAIT for your next post and thank you again for sharing your talents on here. Do you have a facebook? I wold love to chat with you if you had a moment for it. If not, I totally understand tight schedules with having 2 kids. ;]

Will be watching for your next post!
    Cheers!

I just happened to 'stumble upon' your photos and they are just beautiful. Not only are they creatively clever, they really spoke to my heart about the innocence and joy of childhood. Even as an adult you yearn for carefree days like the moments captured in your photos, and in fact it brought a tear to my eye. I can see how much you love your girls as they are so free to be who they are. You and your wife are doing a wonderful job. Thank you for sharing them with us. Take care and keep them coming!

  27. Wow. Absolutely fantastic. I've followed your blog and on flickr for years. Your girls are so cute and your photography so evocative that it inspires. Hate to admit it, but even though I'm a guy, I've got to be careful or I get tears about your photos. I just can't imagine how you come up with such creative ideas.

  30. Inspiring. Maybe one day I will have talent like you. I'll probably never have the creativity, though. That you can't learn - and clearly, it's inside you.
